She is the daughter of Samanta and Guga. Initially, she was not cared for by her mother and needed to be cared for by the Sanctuary’s keepers in the first months of her life. But later she was reintegrated into the group and today lives very well with her mother and siblings.

Sofia is the troublemaker of the family, always stirring up daily life and provoking her siblings. She is decisive and brave; she interacts and can live with several chimpanzees, since, despite having a strong personality, she knows how to relate well to them.
