In Memoriam 🙏🏻

He arrived at the home of Selma and Sonia Mandruca, owners of the Sanctuary, when he was eight months old, and lived there until he was five. He was responsible for opening the eyes and hearts of the owners of the Vargem Grande Paulista sanctuary to the cause of great apes. When he went to live in the chimpanzee enclosure, he took a while to get used to it, because he thought he was human. That’s why he adapted to mattresses on the beds and TV in front of his bedroom. His toys and storybooks were always at hand.
