He arrived at the sanctuary in 2007 from a former circus, where he was subjected to mistreatment. He joined a group of chimpanzees from São Paulo and regularly fought for leadership with an older male (Biito). Pedrinho had a strong personality and was always teasing the others in the group. With unparalleled agility, he proved to be a stealthy male. Tina was his best friend and in conflict situations he protected her.

He passed away on January 14th, 2025.
