Mizrach

Male. DOB: 1985, Israel. He lived in poor conditions, in a very small cage in a private zoo in Israel. She arrived at the sanctuary in 2009, aged 24. He was very scared and avoided any contact. Today, Mizrachi lives in an enclosure of approximately 10,000 m². Its outdoor area has wooden structures, bridges, a 10-meter tower and a swimming pool, so you can cool off and quench your thirst. He is always watching and interacting with his neighbor Judy, a chimpanzee who lived in the same zoo as him. Mizrach likes to rest in his tower, but he also walks a lot and every now and then he is seen on top of the coconut trees picking jerivá coconuts. From the top he also observes the other groups and vocalizes a lot with the other chimpanzees.
