Megh was born and lived in a private zoo in Fortaleza, Ceará (Northern area of Brazil), which was closed down by Ibama (Brazilian Environmental Institute) due to irregularities. She was rescued with her older sister, Deby. She is introspective, observant, loves children and enjoys climbing trees and playing for hours. She is also very affectionate.
