Deby was born and lived in a private zoo in Fortaleza, Ceará (Northern area of Brazil), which was closed down by Ibama (Brazilian Environmental Institute) due to irregularities. She was rescued with her younger sister, Megh. She is very observant, super active, has a strong personality and is extremely protective of her sister. Her favorite pastime is playing with tickles.
