Winter in the sanctuary

It took more than ever, but now the cold of winter invaded GAP Great Ape Sanctuary in Sorocaba, and we had to resort to comforters, especially for those who like to sleep or staying a long time in their baskets outdoors.

Here are some recent pictures of chimpanzees who sleep outdoors enjoying their new comforters. Those who prefer to sleep in the dorms also won, but they make their nests, either on the floor or on the beds, with blankets and TNT.

Now everyone will understand why a civilized chimpanzee will never be interested in living in the woods, where they have to make a nest each night, with cold and rain quite often, 15-20 feet tall.

The amenities of human civilization are much appreciated by them, whi enjoy and thank.
