WHAT PRESIDENT LULA SHOULD READ

My answer to President Lula, who called me and every prisoner and former political Cuban prisoners of thieves, made a lot of people who did not know my past to get interested about my opinions of Cuba and the 50 years of Castro system.

That unhappy quote of President Lula resulted in an unusual debate in Brazilian press, never seen before, and the revelations about Cuban tragedy grew again. A modest book – “Trip to Twilight”, modest, shy and with no pretensions or graphic resources, and by a journalist and writer from Pernambuco state – like our President, with beard, leather sandals, backpack – appeared on TV. Samarone Lima told that he has gone to Cuba deceived by the articles of Frei Beto and ready to know the Cuban Revolution and its protagonist, the people of anti-empire island. With little money and no friends, he stayed at Cuban houses and was able to know the real truth: a population that is afraid, that is miserable, abandoned and rebelled and, at the same time, restrained, which struggles day-by-day for survival, looking for a food plate, a and something to sell or exchange to get food.

Samarone Lima realized that thing called Cuban Revolution does not exist anymore. It has been buried by the mafia that controls the country and its wealth. If someone wants to know the truth about Cuba, do not ask me. Buy this small book and in a few hours you will get to know how a 50 year oppressor system destroyed a population.
