WHAT PRESIDENT LULA SHOULD READ

My answer to President Lula, who called me and every prisoner and former political Cuban prisoners of thieves, made a lot of people who did not know my past to get interested about my opinions of Cuba and the 50 years of Castro system.

That unhappy quote of President Lula resulted in an unusual debate in Brazilian press, never seen before, and the revelations about Cuban tragedy grew again. A modest book – “Trip to Twilight”, modest, shy and with no pretensions or graphic resources, and by a journalist and writer from Pernambuco state – like our President, with beard, leather sandals, backpack – appeared on TV.
