Circuses that still work with animals constantly repeat that the animals are well treated because they are their largest investment. However, the reality shows otherwise. We have living proof in Sorocaba Sanctuary: lions, bears and chimpanzees confiscated from circuses, due to the bad conditions they were submitted to – and with the consequences of this mistreating clearly etched on their bodies.
Here there is a very recent case: see where this lion lives in Zanchettini Circus, which passed, a few days ago, in Goiania, where there is no law that prohibits this from occurring in front of state and federal authorities, without anything being done to punish this circus that torturers the animals.
