THE LAST CHAIN

SOROCABA SANCTUARY

Every animal that are in circuses have chains around their necks. It is the way to dominate them and a reminder of the torture that they suffer in there. Throughout all these years of chimpanzees’ rescues, we have been pulling out these mankind shame chains.

Bear Faze, who has recently arrived at GAP Sanctuary, had a heavy chain around his neck. When he walked the chain dragged around with him. For his point of view, it was the symbol of prison and dominance over his life.

Today the chain was cut and Faze is totally free inside his captivity. He does not have to work for anyone, or play for humans or be harassed constantly.

For everyone who fights for Animal Liberation, this must be an important day. The symbol of abuse and torture against an extraordinary American bear was definitely vanished.
