The happiness of a chimpanzee
posted in 03 Oct 2013

Alejandra Juarez is the representative of GAP Project in Argentina. She owns a sanctuary of bugio monkeys at Cordoba hills:  www.proyectocaraya.com.ar

In the zoo of this city, there is a lonely chimpanzee called Toti. During months, with the authorization of the zoo directors, Alejandra has been visiting and developing a deep friendship with Toti.

Toti waits very anxious the weekly visiting of Alejandra, who gives him some gifts and magazines and when she gets near, he hugs her with truly careness. Watch the video of Toti seeing her arriving: http://youtu.be/N1UbJLph1Ew

Hundreds of needy chimpanzees in zoos around the world demand this gesture of love, compassion and care. It is in our hands and in our wishes the willing to change this situation and give them an appropriate home together with their equals.
