The doors of horror are closed

Former Coulston Foundation can be considered to be the worst one in terms of a chimpanzee torture center marked by abuse, violence and lack of moral and ethics in United States. The doors of this place are being definitely closed this December. The final 10 chimpanzees living at Save the Chimps in New Mexico will be leaving on December 12th to their “island in the sun” in Florida, at Save the Chimps Sanctuary. Another nine of the same family have already arrived.

For months these chimps were socialized in New Mexico in a way that they are going to able to adapt to life in a sanctuary. The final chapter of the Great Chimpanzee Migration is the best way to pay homage to the founder and idealist of the largest chimpanzee sanctuary of the world, Dr. Carole Noon, who left us early due to a cancer two years ago and had not the chance to see her work concluded. But her beloved chimpanzees will always remember everything she made for them.

If you want to help sponsoring a migration and closing the doors of horror of Coulston Foundation, get to know more visiting Save the Chimps website – www.savethechimps.org. There are another torture centers – Bioqual, New Iberia, Yerkes – where human insanity continues. However, we are close to put an end in this, as long as a new law proposal is about to be approved at USA Congress, putting an end in invasive research with chimpanzees.
