SOROCABA SANCTUARYSiberian tiger Simba, abandoned by a circus at Porto Seguro, in Bahia state, more than two years ago in a pitiful condition, arrived from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, where he was under the care of Ibama.
In an official car of Ibama, they left early on Tuesday, June 2, and arrived at 5pm at the sanctuary in Sorocaba this Wednesday, June 3.
This date marked a big victory at the Deputies Chamber in Brasília, the beginning to a new law that will prohibit the exploitation of animals in circus in Brazil. And, coincidently, one representative of these innocent beings abused by humans arrived at his final destiny, where he is going to be able to live in peace and calm and won’t be a slave of human greed anymore.
