TACUGAMA SANCTUARY, SIERRA LEONE

Tacugama Sanctuary, in Sierra Leone, is looking for funds urgently, in order to build more enclosures to host chimpanzees that are in its waiting list. With a big effort they have accepted lately Sara, a baby who is six months old today and do not give any rest to her keeper and nanny, Mama Posseh.

Sara arrived on April and is already getting accustomed to other keepers, so that her nanny can take a rest. Director and founder of this extraordinary African sanctuary, Bala Amarasekaran, is concentrating efforts on England to raise funds, to expand and improve the enclosures. Recently Bala was interviewed for 10 minutes by BBC’s hoster Mattew Bannister.

Access http://www.tacugama.com/donate.html and collaborate with money, with the ammount you can, so the sanctuary can receive more chimpanzees who are in need, desperately, of a shelter.
