Rest In Peace, Dr. Miguel Vaudano

We are very sorry to inform the passing of Dr. Miguel Angel Vaudano, Deputy Coordinator of the GAP Project for Latin America, on 06/08/21 at 17:30, due to COVID.

Dr. Miguel was one of the founders of the GAP Project in Brazil and collaborated in various activities for the multiplication and dissemination of the work throughout Latin America. He actively participated in the foundation of the Great Apes Sanctuary of Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil, and in rescue operations for several chimpanzees.

His presence, always positive and collaborative, will be greatly missed and will be remembered with great affection and respect by all collaborators and representatives of the GAP Brazil/International.

The burial will take place on June 11, at 2 pm, at the Morumbi cemetery, in São Paulo.
