HOW THE ZOO TRANSFORMED HIM

Polar bear Knut became famous in the world in 2007, when his mother abandoned him and he has been raised by a keeper, Thomas Dorflein, at Berlim Zoo. He was cover of magazines all over the world and promoted the zoo, generating good profits for the institution.

NGO PETA has just denounced that the zoo transformed Knut, today a three and a half-year old bear with a lot of psychological and behavior problems. Not only chimpanzees are converted in mental disturbed beings when are kept in zoos being exhibited to the public for hours with no privacy, but also polar bears, the biggest terrestrial carnivore of the world, as it is informed by an article at “Brasil Econômico” Newspaper. The animal becomes a schizophrenic in the zoo.
