March 7th 2009:  NGO Animal Defenders International (ADI) published a new report and launched a video that show the primate trafficking that supply cruel lab experiment in three continents. The video has images done by an investigator inside Huntington Life Sciences (HLS) lab, the main target of international organization Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC), whose main objective is to close HLS, one of the biggest animal experimentation lab of the world.

The primates are caught in their natural habitat and are put in very small cages in Vietnan, before a 30 hour-trip inside cages that are even smaller.

The investigator filmed monkeys tied in chairs and forced to inhale products. A lot of them were kept in one meter cubic cages and some had tubes inserted by force into their throats. During ADI\’s investigation, that last one year, 217 primates were killed in only five studies to clients like GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), AstraZeneca and MoD.
