SOROCABA SANCTUARY

In the last few weeks several new guests arrived at the sanctuary to enrich the diversity of species and to show society what the circus did with them. And why cool circuses are circuses without animals

Tiger Chitara – female, adult, Siberian origin.
Tiger Simba – male, adult, Siberian origin.
Bear Fofa – female, adult, came from United States, is a Brown Bear species.
Bear Faze – male, adult, came from Canadá, is na American Bear.
Lion Leo – male, young, came from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, had been kept in a 2 x 3 meters cage for more than three years.
Lion Lola – female, adult, came together with Leo and lived together in the same cage.
Lion Zeus – male, adult, had an affair with tiger Chitara when they lived at the circus. She gave birth to a “liger”, who died when he was six months old, at the circus.
All these beings, in one way or another, were abused and violated throughout their lives. Faze had his teeth sawed and is not able to eat properly. He does not have his claws, like bear Fofa. Lions Leo and Lola do not have their claws either and the teeth were also sawed.

It is time to say STOP to these violent and terrorist practices against innocent beings, done only to amuse people and enrich a few persons who are destroying what the circus culture should be.
