For those who still doubt that the circuses hurt their animals, we show here some pictures taken from the biggest circus of United States and of the world, the Ringling, training a baby elephant.

1st picture

Ringling trainers use a bullhook and tight ropes to force na elephant’s feet off the ground – the animal is forced to hold them in the air. Ringling claims that it trains elephant to do dangerous and meaningless stunts simply through repetition and reward, but images like this prove what really motivates these animals-fear.

2nd picture

A scared baby elephant is trained to sit on a tub. “Raising a baby elephant at Ringling is like raising a kid in jail”, says Sam Haddok, the former Ringling elephant trainer who blew the whistle on this abuse.

3rd picture

A baby elephant is trained to lie down. As long as elephants are used in circuses, they will be subject to this kind of humiliation and abuse.
