Help abandoned chimpanzees in Liberia
posted in 21 Sep 2016

Humane Society has launched one more campaign on behalf of the more than 60 chimpanzees who were abandoned for their own luck in Liberia by New York Blood Center (NYBC) over a year ago, when all the funding committed to their care was simply withdrew.
After making millions by doing invasive experiments on our closest living relatives, NYBC decided the chimpanzees were no longer needed for research and testing — and the animals were left in danger of dehydration or starvation on a set of islands off the coast of Liberia.
Humane Society is asking everyone to send more messages to NYBC President and CEO, Christopher Hillyer, and tell him to reinstate funding for these chimpanzees immediately.
