Gorillas run away from fires

At Virunga Mountains

The threat now is not exactly of the humans who hunt them. The problem consists on the fires that sprawl through the triple line among Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, which force the Mountain Gorillas to run away to Congo. The lack of water, due to an uncommon drought at this time of the year, caused the fires.

When they go to Congo, where there is still a war between rival groups, the gorillas face this new enemy. The estimated 720 gorillas of this species (Gorilla beringei beringei) can not be able to handle these threats to their habitat and can disappear from Earth.
