Five years ago, conservationist Damian Aspinall, from Aspinall Foundation, released a gorilla, Kwibi, into the jungles of Gabon. Recently Aspinall returned to Africa to meet a now ten-year-old Kwibi. The encounter was amazing. Kwibi recognized Damian’s call and demonstrated all his love and care for his guardian. Watch here the video of the encounter.
Aspinall Foundation has been reintroducing captive gorillas in the wild for ten years. They are raised in parks in England and then are taken to the jungles of West Africa.
