GAP Project in Europe asks for all the aquatic parks to be closed
posted in 04 Mar 2010

In a communication by GAP Project Europe, it has been asked to European authorities to close the two aquatic parks of the continent: one in France, Merineland, Antibes, with four whales, and other in Spain, at Loro Parque de Tenerife, which also has four whales.

The communication, signed by GAP Project Spain director, Pedro Pozas Terrados, due to the recent tragedy occurred at SeaWorld Park in Florida – in which a whale killed his trainer – alerts that it is necessary to close these two parks and free the marine mammals who live there in bad conditions and under permanent stress in the small artificial tanks.
