European Zoos: castration of gorillas
posted in 15 Jan 2014

PROTEST!

A complaint is circulating in the internet (bellow) about a policy that is being practiced by European zoos, members of the Association of Zoos of the European Community: the castration of gorillas.

The population of gorillas in the wild has dropped dramatically in recent years. Zoos need only a few individuals for exhibition, and are not interested in increasing this population with conservation purposes, since their goal is just to entertain the public.

Castrate gorillas is an act of human  insanity of those who care only about the economic returns of their projects and not to the preservation of a species  that will be extinct in the wild within 20 years.
