A documentary that ended up being candidate to win an Oscar this year shows the mistreatment and exploitation that aquatic animals suffer in the famous Seaworld , in Florida . This time, the image of Seaworld will be deeply shocked , and perhaps will not stand the rejection of the public and will finish closing the doors .

The own employees of the waterpark approached the filmmakers of the documentary and confessed: ” if you knew the half of what we know , the park was already closed. ”

The documentary, Blackfish, which had a modest budget , has been broadcast by CNN and raised over 2 million dollars. The creator of the film, Gabriela Cowperthwaite , who is daughter of Brazilians, revealed that what motivated her to make the documentary was the death of trainer Dawn Bracheau in 2010 by whale Tilikum; she was dragged by the hair to the bottom of the pool and there she died .

In the beginning Gabriela was afraid of the success of her idea, but when former coaches agreed to speak and gave images, at that time she thought “I have already the movie “.

“When you go to Seaworld , you don’t see orcas, but copies . They rest and remains at the bottom of the pools . A very different behavior of the whales in the oceans. Whales to Sea World are trained like robots. “They are sad animals,” said Gabriela. She continued: ” I do not want to traumatize the public, I want to take Blackfish for schools and submit it to a generation that will discover what Seaworld is. However ,  Seaworld is not the only one , perhaps the most famous and known. There are Aquatic Zoos in many parts of the world, such as the Loro Park, in Spain, which cause several similar complaints and even worse ones.

The truth that is now being shown , cold and raw , and will possibly lead to the end of those zoos , which are only centers of animal torture.
