Crime in USA: old chimpanzees come back to torture
posted in 30 Sep 2010

Flo, a female chimpanzee, turned 53 years old yesterday. She spent all her life in medical torture lab cages in United States. Several viruses were inoculated on her: hepatitis C, HIV, among others. She survived, but her fight was almost in vain. In spite of being an institution that North- American could be proud of, USA Health Institute (NIH) is a shame for international medical research and still uses chimpanzees. Flo, who was retired, will come back soon to medical torture. Together with her, other 14 old chimpanzees will go, among them Faron, Jerry, Ken, Huby, Cammy and Levy.

Besides being tortured with a lot of diseases, biopsies, blood extraction and anesthetics, their babies were stolen in order to also be sent to medical torture laboratories.

Wenka, 56 years old, also lived in cages similar to these. She is still at Yerkes National Primate Research Center, located at Emory University, where primatologist Frans de Waal works and became famous and rich by publishing books about chimpanzees. Would he have compassion for her?

R&R Project, NEAVS and GAP Project International appeal North-American authorities for them to stop the torture of chimpanzees with the fake explanation of healing human diseases.

We ask for everyone to protest against the use of these chimpanzees, who were already sacrificed during all their lives and will probably be taken to death if they come back to medical laboratories.
