CHIMPANZEES ARE THE SPONSORS OF STOCK CAR RACING

The photo of a baby chimpanzee from Curitiba was the main attraction of the latest Stock Car race. The chimpanzee is one of the first dwellers of the Great Ape Sanctuary in Curitiba, which is mantained by Anami Institute, owned by Anita and Milan Starostik, affiliated to GAP Project.

The grandson of the Starostik`s, William, is the youngest pilot of the Stock Car and has the sponsorship of the grandparents to participate of these races. When he was interviewed by Globo Esporte, William commented: "People had already made fun telling me not to do monkey stuff in the race track. But the most important thing is to help this very important cause." William has one strong power on his side: the protection of the chimpanzees angels, which is big and that, undoubtly, will help him to finish succesfully and safely each race.
