Bear Jack back to life
posted in 09 Nov 2012

Bear Jack lived a large part of his life in a circus and was one of the last to arrive at the sanctuary, along with chimpanzee Bob, with whom he shared the circus wagon.

During his first days at the sanctuary Jack never left the bedroom and when he left, he kept on shaking his body from pone side do another in front of the windows of the open area of the enclosure, like a pendulum for hours. Practically he was no longer a bear, but a disturbed being with no goal in this world.

Little by little, he was getting more and more out of the dorm for the outside and one day he had a little bit of his life of bear back, dipping in the pool of his enclosure. Jack will never be normal, but now he can enjoy moments of happiness that he had never met in his life in the circus.
