With the release of the documentary Blackfish, showing the abuse and torture that orcas and other aquatic animals undergo at Seaworld Park, in Florida, several rock bands and popular artists canceled performances scheduled for 2014 in that “aquatic zoo”.

The famous country singer and social activist, Willie Nelson, at the request of his fans, announced the cancellation, as well as several bands that would perform at a show known as Bands, Brew & BBQ Concerts, which is celebrated from February 1 until March 9.

The chain of cancellations began in November, when the Canadian group Barenaked Ladies announced, on its Facebook page, that it would not participate. The fans of each artist and band have pushed through social networks so that they do not participate in any activity at the water park , where Tilikum orca trainer was killed in February 2010, prompting the realization of the documentary, aired weeks ago by CNN and that shocked the world .

Those who torture animals in zoos, circuses and spectacles now  know that the network of protection to these innocent beings is present and active, and that they cannot continue abusing and exploiting them without suffering the consequences .

SeaWorld and ALL AQUATIC PARKS IN THE WORLD SHOULD BE CLOSED!
