SAVE THE CHIMPS SANCTUARY

To pay tribute to Humans Mothers` Day, Save the Chimps, Florida, is launching a campaign for the adoption of a adopted chimpanzee mother, for donations that contribute for their maintenance in the next months. Contributors will receive a photo of the chimpanzee, an adoption certificate, a biography and annual information newsletter about the adopted chimpanzee.

Get to know these mothers, who had never the chance to keep their biological babies:

April: used to be a pet and was taken out her mother when was born. Today he is a loving and patient adopted mother for Melody.

Liza:
was put in the reproduction program of a medical experimentation laboratory when she was nine years old. She had been kept there for eight years and was never able to get preagnant.

Jennifer: during 17 years she gave birth to 13 babies and did not keep any. In the wild each mother has, in the maximum, six babies.

Scarlett: she is epileptic, gave birth to two babies, who were taken out of her hours after their birth.
