A hundred dollars for a bear

Despite protests since its ban in 1994, next week the State of Florida will allow 1900 hunters to compete for a black bear for two days.

To have this absurd opportunity to kill a bear, if you are a resident hunter in Florida will pay $ 100; if you are from out of state, $ 300. All licenses have been sold and the municipalities of South Florida, near Miami, will be the “theater of operations” for 1900 humans, who deserve neither the name and will contest unfortunate 320 bears that exist there.

An estimated population of 3,000 bears exists in the wild in Florida. And it’s nothing compared to the human population and with existing resources in these municipalities of the so-called first world, which could provide effective protection programs for possible encounters with wildlife in your backyard.

Florida will become the next week in a paradise of innocent animals killers.

Let us write to Florida Governor, Rick Scott, asking for the ban on the bears’ massacre! http://www.flgov.com/contact-gov-scott/email-the-governor/
