TORTURED BEARS

Around 10 to 13 thousand bears are still imprisoned in metal cages, with catheters implanted in their gallbladder or with holes in their chests to get out bile to be converted in medicines.

Twenty out of 31 Chinese provinces already disapprove this torture against bears and forbid this criminal practice. In a week, through the internet, 92 thousand Chinese citizens signed the petition to forbid this activity and to avoid a Chinese company– Gui Zhen Tang Pharmaceutical – to raise money in the stock market to put more bears under this torture.

Let’s reach one million signatures. Organization NEAVS is asking everyone to contact Chinese Embassies in each country to protest against this crime and to sign the letter aiming to avoid that the Chinese company get more funds to torture even more bears.
