2012: a year not to be forgotten
posted in 27 Dec 2012

On Christmas Day, a polar bear called Winner, one of the few in captivity in these latitudes, died in Buenos Aires Zoo due to a mixture of hyperthermia (high temperature) and stress caused by fireworks used by some humans who have no creativity to celebrate any time what they think it is important.

Global warming is a fact that is impossible to be hidden and this season, also in these latitudes, we are suffering in the cities and countryside. At the same time, NGO WWF warns the world about something that should never be forgotten: this year 19 billion dollars were moved in the illegal wildlife trade.

The world did not end on Dec. 21, but humans are destroying the planet, its components and resources at a rate that will make this century cataclysms that await us end the lives of millions of beings – human and non-human, because we do not understand the messages that Nature gives us every day.
